*SOLD* Very scarce caliber in this completely unmolested example of the famous forerunner to the Pre 64 Model 70. There were only 50,000 Model 54s ever made, with a relative very few in 30 W.C.F. caliber.
Most surviving M54s have been virtually if not literally destroyed with every sort of abomination you can imagine by fools with tools. This one is in exceptionally nice shape for its 91 years, with perfect undrilled rear bridge, nice finishes, no bolt handle alteration (nor associated routing of the wood under it), no recoil pad, and it has the correct sights and swivel studs, etc. There are no extra holes or cracks anywhere. There is some notable finish wear in the usual places of bottom metal and buttplate. The bore is excellent, as are all mechanical functions. S/N 37324A made way back in 1932!
A worthy placeholder for most any collection.
