Description:
This is an extraordinarily rare and possibly singularly unique DWM 1900 Luger that was part of the U.S. military test trials. For more details on the history of this pistol, please watch the video we made discussing all we know (and theorize) about it as we will only describe the condition here. The pistol has fully matching numbers through, with safely 90-95% of the original blue remaining. Minor wear on the grip straps , with a few minuscule patches of freckling on either side of the gun. There's also some discoloration on the safety lever, and a minor surface scratch on the sideplate. Strong bore with minor signs of use and no major defect. The pistol is marked with flaming bomb proofs on the right side of the receiver and frame, as well as the grips, Ideal grip inserts and the stock. The inserts are also marked 'U.S. PROPERTY'. Both the grip panels and inserts are marked with the full, matching four-digit serial number of the pistol. The rare Ideal stock is also matching numbered to the pistol, and 'U.S. PROPERTY' marked. The stock shows it's age with flaking of the leather and patina throughout, but it still attaches properly to the pistol and also extends/retracts smoothly. ://youtube/watch?v=F8FA5MZ_oi4&t=2s
