Description:
24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 22 Short with an excellent bore. A very late parts cleanup gun with the late barrel markings and no tang marking. Polishing room numbers end at 848936 and this rifle is almost 4000 numbers above that. Rifle is in very nice condition with most blue remaining. Crisp tight action. Standard 12 groove forend. Walnut buttstock has been very lightly cleaned with perhaps a bit of oil added. An interesting late production parts cleanup 1890 rifle for the collector.
