Fine example of an original, British trade pistol by Ketland & Co. London. This example is in original condition, and not altered, repaired, or refinished. Even the lock and lock securing screws are original. It is 14 inches overall, with a 8 inch, 56 caliber brass barrel. The lock is marked Ketland & Co. and functions perfectly. The barrel has period London proof marks. All furniture is brass including the pierced side plate and ramrod tip. Made in the early 1800s for the American fur trade period.
