Description:
This Springfield Armory (SA) M1 Garand was manufactured in January 1941. It has been rebuilt circa 1965 using all SA parts of which, according to the numbers, are all pre WWII. This includes an SA 12-41 barrel in excellent condition with throat and the muzzle erosion gauges at 1 (a Zero reading means a new barrel, see pictures). It is rare to see an M1 barrel this age with very little wear. Receiver shows original heat treating color, WWII-style lock bar type rear sight, and milled trigger guard. Stock appears to be GI with some wear, inside of stock shows little wear. Shows British Lend Lease markings Parts data is as follows:
