Description:
This is a rare Verchromt Walther PPK in very good, original condition that retains about 90-92% of its original finish. Very few PPKs were finished in “verchromt”, which was Walther’s experiment in producing a variation of the plated finish - essentially a type of electrolysis plating that gave the gun a dull gray appearance. Unfortunately, it proved to be less durable than the standard blue finish and very few such guns were made in the early 30s. There is minor flaking of the finish on this pistol in a few areas, and visible oxidation on the front strap. Comes with one Verchromt magazine with beautiful finger extension, one flat bottom Verchromt magazine, and a black leather holster. The verchromt mags are very difficult to find, and both are in good shape. Minty bore. Excellent brown grip with no cracks.
