Description:
Smith & Wesson Registered Magnum chambered in .357 Magnum. The first .357 Magnums were built on a beefed up 38/44 revolver chambered for the longer Magnum cartridge. The revolvers were built to special order. Choices included length of barrel, type of grips, finish, and sights. A registration number is stamped in each of these revolvers. Only 5224 Registered Magnums were made, of which 702 were made with a 6-inch barrel. These are very rare guns. .357 Mag
