"Constable of Philadelphia Saw Handle Dueller. Barrel length 10" and is 16" overall length. This was a .55 caliber pistol that has been sleeved to .31 caliber. Gun has an adjustable set trigger. The barrel has approximately 95% original finish and has silver bands on the halter breach plug. Trigger guard has 95% original blue. Stock is very good plus to excellent. Gun has approximately 95% original varnish. Lock cocks and trigger guard are engraved. This is no doubt one of a two gun cased set that was probably a 15-20 thousand dollar outfit. How this gun came to be sleeved is up to conjecture. Constable was a Philadelphia Arms dealer and this pistol probably is of English make imported. This should be a pleasure to shoot as a recoil would be minimal. Note the sleeve is rifled.
