"Serial number 2761 and 2762. Made in 1851. 36 caliber with 7 ½" barrels. This is a beautiful consecutive pair of early Colt 1851 Navy Models with the square back trigger guards. These guns are in excellent condition in a dealer case. Serial number 2761 has 95% of the blue on the barrel and visible case colors on the frame. The grips are excellent. Most of the silver remains on the back strap and trigger guard. Serial number 2762 has 70% of the blue remaining on the barrel with the biggest concentration loss on the right hand side. Case colors are very fine. Grips are excellent. A;,ost all of the silver remains on the back strap and trigger guards. Case has very nice accessories with a truly exceptional flask. Lid is slightly warped. Absolutely beautiful set of Square back Colt 1851 navies in very fine to excellent condition.
