Description:
For consideration is a very nice Colt Officers Model revolver in .32 Colt caliber. This circa 1953 Colt Officers Model Target is chambered for the rarely seen 32 Colt cartridge with the heavy barrel.The 6" HEAVY barrel has a like new bore with bright, strong rifling. The bright hammer is very good. The blued trigger has a checkered face. The barrel is marked COLT OFFICERS over MODEL 32 over *HEAVY BARREL*. It is equipped with a Patridge front sight. The checkered wood grips with the Colt medallion are very good with no cracks or chips. The rampant Colt medallions are still very good with little wear. There is a spot on the right side of the barrel and one on the cylinder. A bit of high edge wear exists mostly at the muzzle. The bore is good with strong rifling. Sights are adjustable. The action is smooth and sure and everything works like it should. Cylinder lock up is very good in the "fired" condition. There are light turn rings on the cylinder. This Colt being a .32 with the heavy barrel is an unusual combination and as such would make a great addition to a collection. No box or paperwork.
