This is a Recreated Antique 1840 Black Powder Muzzleloader .50 cal. John Manton English Gentleman`s Belt Pistol Cased Set with Accessories. It is housed in a 16"x 11.5"x 3.5" Walnut Case with a custom designed Felt interior weighing 7 lbs. This 14" long pistol has an octagon rifled barrel, steel furniture and a dark stained hardwood stock. It as not been fired. This cased set is unusual as its rear for a single percussion cased pistol. It wasn`t until the percussion revolver era post 1851 that single percussion revolvers were commonly cased. The antique and replica accessories also includes a interchangable belt hook.
