Description:
Sako Model AV chambered in .375 H&H Magnum. The Sako AV is a bolt-action rifle based on the L61R action. It was produced by the Finnish manufacturer Sako in 1979 and 1980. The rifle has a fixed magazine with a hinged, polished floorplate. The Tasco 4-16x40 scope sits in 1-inch rings mounted in the receiver bridge using a proprietary tapered dovetail rail with variable width (narrow at the rear, wide at the front). This rifle is in excellent condition with very deep bluing and a beautiful, checkered Monte Carlo stock. The .375 H&H Magnum is a medium-bore rifle belted cartridge that is often cited as one of the most useful all-round rifle cartridges. It can be used in hunting large and dangerous game and is a favorite of African and Alaskan game guides. .375 H&H Magnum
