Description:
This is a rare FN Browning High Power that was part of a Lithuanian contract order in 1937. One of only 7,000 ordered, they were all roll engraved with the Pillars of Gediminas crest and fitted with a lanyard ring on the frame and had a slotted frame. This one is matching and original with about 85-90% blue remaining. The most notable patch of wear is on the front strap, with more on the high edges and bottom of back strap. The bore has strong rifling but some freckling throughout in the grooves. This one also has the rare and early grips with painted red backs, which have no cracks or chips.
