Attention Mauser Collectors!!! Check out this beautiful M1896 Swedish Mauser. This rifle was manufactured in 1901 and is all numbers matching. The stock disc on this rifle grades the bore at #1. Lots of Mauser lovers consider the Swedish Mausers to be some of the finest Mausers ever made. They are prized by collectors for their super smooth cock-on-close actions and special attention to details like checkering the cocking piece and flag safety that isn't found on most Mausers. Fit and finish on these rifles are exceptional. This rifle is also chambered in the soft-recoiling and flat shooting 6.5X55 Swedish Mauser cartridge.
