This Browning Belgium A-5 12g Light w/Vent Rib 28 inch* was mfg abt 1963. It comes w/an Excellent Round Knob Buttstock w/no cracks, dents or scratches. It appears to have been an earlier but excellent restoration and then placed into a climate controled safe or environment. The Gun Metal is also very good abt 98%. The trigger housing as well and & is set off w/an esquisite "Gold Trigger". The Barrel is a *28 inch Vent Rib Belgium w/a Simmons Ventilated rib - It's has a rear bead sight w/an illminoius front Sight. This outsourced installation of Ventilated Ribs was common for both Winchester & Browning during the
Viet Nam War period due to war demands. The Simmons Gun Specialties was Located in Kansas City & is still in business.
The action is very tight & normal. I would rate this an NRA Vg to Excellent. a good choice for the entry level Browning owner and collector.
