This is an early Remington 1100 Magnum 20 Gauge, sometimes referred to as a Heavy Frame 20 Gauge Magnum because it is built on the 1100 12 gauge frame. The reliable Remington® 1100® gas-operated Semi-Auto Shotgun has been in production over for 60 years, making it America's best-selling semi-automatic shotgun. The 1100 has elegant lines and premium finish. The mahogany stock and fore-end have pressed checkering with a high-gloss finish that matches the highly polished, blued receiver and barrel. The recoil-reducing gas operated system makes the Model 1100 very agreeable to shoot all day long. Manufactured 1967. 20 Gauge
