Being one of the fastest cycling shotguns on the market and offering extremely low recoil, the A400 is an absolute winner also thanks to its impeccable balance and handling. Beretta has taken a cue from Cole’s and enlarged the loading port, installed a large cocking handle and fitted a larger bolt release to the New A400 Xcel. One of the more interesting and I think better new features is the how shell elevator now remains up and out of the way for easier loading of shells into the tubular magazine. Beretta retained their innovative speed preload feature.
