Description:
This Mauser bolt action rifle is a Gecado (Suhl Germany G.C. Dornheim) chambered in 7X57MM Mauser. It has a full textured rib barrel, fixed blade front sight, two-leaf flip-up U-notched rear sight, sling loops top and bottom, checkered round knob pistol grip stock, Schnabel fore end, thick soft rubber butt pad, and double triggers. There are two triggers; the rear trigger sets the first trigger to a single stage. While the bluing is thin, there is no noticeable rust, pitting nor freckling apparent. The wood condition is in relatively good condition considering its age, and it shows a wonderful patina. This rifle comes with a rare, vintage Pecar Berlin 6 X 59 riflescope. 7x57 Mauser
