Description:
*SOLD* The best there is, and in an extremely difficult to find caliber/configuration. This is a transition era 375 Magnum (375 H&H) built in 1947 using mostly Pre War components. S/N 60***. The Pre War receiver has a clover leaf tang with correct matted and undrilled rear bridge, and the barrel is the early 24" medium heavy straight tapered blank fitted with a proper 22g rear sight. The safety lever is the "clam shell" aka "rabbit's foot" version used only during this brief transitional period. Soft factory recoil pad with the correct embossing as issued on all 375s.
An absolutely beautiful rifle throughout, with only minimal handling marks, showing 98% or better original finishes. The bore and bolt face likewise show virtually no use beyond factory test.
Please add $100 for expedited and fully insured shipping from Alaska to your receiving FFL dealer.
