S O L D .........LAYAWAY?.............VERY GOOD + CONDITION OVERALL, COLT 1851 NAVY .36 CALI... SINGLE ACTION Civil War REVOLVER....LAYAWAY?.....Smooth walnut grips with steel frame, cylinder and barrel. 7-1/2" barrel length, 13" overall. 1856 manufacture. Tight action and worn rifling.
.36 caliber. 7.5" octagonal barrel length. SN: 48931 (Mfg. ca.1856). Bare metal finish. One piece walnut grip in fine conditiuon. Colt features NICE naval engagement marked to six shot cylinder, loading lever, and swept spur hammer. Markings include one-line New York City address to top of barrel, Colt's patent marks to left side of frame, and matching serial numbers overall.

Condition:
Very Good+. Bore is dark. Remnants of silver plating to topstrap crevice. Scratching and some scattered pitting to metal. Wood grips show some light losses to corners and scratches overall. Action works fine. Very attractive piece!
