Belgium made Browning Safari bolt acyion rifle in 30-06 caliber. The gun came out of the Browning factory in the early 60's. This is the light weight version with the "pencil" barrel.This is a no "salt" gun , I believe that some of the early Safari guns were exposed to the salt conditioning however that process was shut down on the later guns.
She tips the scales at approx 7 pounds with a 22 inch light weight barrel.
the bluing is as new, bore is also like new the bolt action is of the Long Extractor or claw like which is highly sought after, also the extractor is factory jeweled ( rare )
the stock is French walnut with great hand checkering ( see pictures )
The magazine release is etched with the nice Browning gold etching. Factory hard plastic Browning butt plate.
