Here we present a C&R Side by Side Shotgun by Charles Playfair of Aberdeen, Scotland, made circa the early-20th Century.
This double features 28” barrels, an overall weight of 6.3 pounds, black powder and nitro proofs, and improved cylinder and full chokes.
The overall condition is very good. Original finish. The actions are excellent. The sliding safety is a little stiff but does its job. The stock is solid and shows honest wear. Numbers match.
