Description:
**SOLD**Sporterized Mauser K98 bolt action rifle, originally manufactured in 1917, re-barreled and customized by noted gunsmith and rifle maker Ed Lander, formerly based out of Lakeville, MA during the 1950's and 1960's. The rifle features a handy 22" barrel chambered in .308 Winchester, a beautiful walnut stock with stylized grip and cheek rest, ebony grip cap and forend tip, and a little compass inletted into the stock. An adjustable peep sight is fitted to the receiver. Some minor finish wear can be seen in areas. Please refer to the photos for overall condition. The rifle modifications seem to have been well done, and what we have here is a fully functional Mauser sporter, perfect for field use! C&R OK. Shipping $60**SOLD**
