Colt Model 1909 Army D/A Revolver in .45ACP. SN #40247. Mfg. in 1911. DOUBLE ACTION. 5 1/2" Barrel with an EXCELLENT Bore for it's age. Bright with STRONG RIFLING. Blued Metal is VERY GOOD for age of gun with slight fading and light wear. Walnut grips are in Good condition with No Cracks and normal wear and handling marks. Revolver is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" under the barrel. Also marked with Inspector proofs R.A.C (Renaldo A. Carr) and F.B (Major Frank Baker). Weight: 2.48 lbs. Trigger Pull: 6 lbs. 8oz. SA.
