Description:
Short tang Model 71 with 24 inch round barrel chambered in 348 WCF caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Sights include a hooded ramped front and a flattop sporting rear and a Lyman 56 receiver sight. Most all original barrel blue remains with a few light scratches. Receiver has most blue as well with some wear to the high points as well as thinning at the carry point. Hammer and lever are blued. Magazine holds 4 cartridges. Sling swivels. Checkered pistolgrip stock shows a little wear but is overall pretty good looking. Checkered steel shotgun buttplate. Good crisp action. These were made from 1935-1957 and this one was made in 1951.
