Description:
F. Niemeyer Freising Black powder era o/u combination hammer gun. Rifle barrel is 10mm x 51 R under a 16 gauge . A box of 10 shells and sizing dies come with the gun. The brass is formed useing .43 Spanish brass. The bullet is a 10mm lead pistol bullet. Can be loaded with black powder or a suitable smokeless powder in a Black powder preasure range. Action is a over under hammer under leaver design with double triggers.Trigger guard is made of Steel with sculptured horn grip. Stock is figured wallet with nice carving bordering checkering on wrist and end of forearm. Action and buttplate retain 90 % of case coloring. Butt plate has a 3 cartridge trap. Barrels are both in excellent condition inside and out. Shotgun barrel is a 16 gauge Damascus twist with a solid steel rib 2 1/2" chamber. Shotgun barrel is full choke. Also has A pop up rear tang peep sight . This is an excellent early example of German craftsmanship in the black powder era. Rifle is in fantastic untouched condition.
