Description:
Professionally restored Winchester Model 1895 rifle features a 22-1/2 inch round barrel chambered in the desirable 405 WCF caliber with a very good shiny bore with good rifling. Most all of the restored blue finish remains on all metal surfaces. Sights include a Lyman blade front sight that is missing the bead and a Marbles flattop sporting rear. Nice smooth action. Receiver retains most all of the restored finish and has sharp markings. Walnut stocks have been freshened and look good with a little extra figure. Wood is a little shy at the wrist by the lower tang. Also a small area on the comb just in front of the crescent rifle style buttplate. This rifle is a good looker and should make for a very good shooter with this bore. Your chance to add a desirable 405 to your collection that was made in 1904.
