Vintage Firearms Inc is pleased to offer this Mauser P.08 Luger serial number 5211m. Manufactured in 1940 this fine example features matching serial numbers. It is stamped with the Waffenamt acceptance marks. The walnut grips are stamped inside with the Waffenamt over 655 and are serial numbered to the gun. The gun has 92% factory original bluing remaining with some holster wear at the muzzle, the bore is very good. The mechanicals function well, the safety operates with a very positive indent. There is no play in the action and the guns tolerances are still tight, the trigger breaks crisply, overall, the gun feels solid and precise. The pistol has two magazines one of which is correctly numbered to the gun, it is a blued magazine with 122 over the Waffenamt and date 37. The second is an example of the final evolution of war time P.08 magazines with Fxo over the Waffenamt and date 37. A great addition to any collection! Thanks for looking.
