Description:
.70 caliber, 42" barrel secured with the correct flat bands. Original flintlock with the convex lock marked " Manufactur / de St Etienne". Full length walnut stock. All of mounts of iron. In beautiful original condition with the metal surfaces showing a pleasing gun metal gray. The lock markings are very crisp and legible. Excellent stock showing the appropriate amount of ware and handling marks. Nice bore and mechanically sound. The accompanying bayonet is certainly of American mfg. and in comparable condition.
