Lock and tang of butt plate date stamped “1807”. 100% original and in original flintlock condition and not a reconversion. Lock marked forward of hammer “US/EAGLE/SPRINGFIELD”. Lock with all the original lock parts. Original ramrod. Front swivel missing. Beautiful original dark patina on metal. Stock with the original finish with wear.
