Description:
An excellent original condition Special Ordered Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine in .38-55 Caliber with shotgun butt, full buckhorn rear sight, etc. Lots of original blue on magazine tube and barrel with a flaked receiver now a nice patina. Wood is original and with original finish as shown in the photos. Bore and chamber are excellent condition. Looks as if the original carbine rear sight that probably came on the carbine was replaced by the full buckhorn rear sight but it is a Winchester sight and a mighty rare one at that. A very nice pre war 1894 carbine made in 1921.
