Ithaca 1911A1 U.S. Army Semi-Auto Pistol in .45ACP. SN #2288446. Mfg. in 1945. 5" Barrel with an EXCELLENT Bright Bore with STRONG RIFLING. Parkerized Metal Finish has the usual wear and is in VERY GOOD condition for it's age. The Walnut checkered grips are in GOOD to VERY GOOD condition for their age. Marked with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" "M1911A1 U.S. ARMY on right side of slide. Inspector Proof "FJA" for Frank J. Atwood, Lt. Col. on left side of frame. Fixed Sights. 1 - 7 round magazine.
