Offered is a Winchester Model 70 rifle made in 1948 in 30GOVT06 , serial number 80841 with 24 inch barrel in overall very good plus all original condition. Blueing is excellent, bore is fine, gloss wood finish is excellent except for handling marks and some loss of finish at the carry point, sharp checkering. The pictures tell the whole story.
A unique feature of this Model 70 is that it carries a period tip off scope which allows use of the scope or iron sights with an easy swivel of the hand.
