Up for sale is a government rejected Colt SAA in .45 Colt. This gun was shipped to Colt's Patent Firearms Co. San Francisco Agency, in San Francisco, California on September 11th 1890.
Spread eagle grips, pin for grips through trigger guard. Military inspectors mark R.A.C. under extractor housing "3316". Marks on cylinder "3316" "P" "R.A.C". Initial in hammer slot "O". Back of frame right side "K" and "1" marks. Mark on left side of trigger guard "G" in front. Mark on bottom of frame on front "RAC 133316". Mark on bottom of the barrel "RAC P". Mark on trigger guard front "133316 K".
