I will argue that the 590A1 is the best combat fighting shotgun made today. I have one, and would take it to hell. What I did with mine was literally keep track of shots fired, and shot every box of crap 12 ga I could get my hands on. When I hit 1000 rounds (by count), I took it apart, cleaned and oiled it thoroughly, reassembled and stood it in the corner at home. She's all broken in and good to go. Heavy walled barrel, steel trigger housing, ghost ring sights. She's all that and more. This one is new in the box and underpriced! After 1000 rounds, mine functions smooth as silk.
