Description:
Serial #35808, .44 Russian, 7" barrel with a good, lightly pitted bore. This revolver has matching assembly numbers on the frame, barrel, cylinder, and latch ("727"), with the metal retaining 97-98% of an overall added nickel finish, applied over some light-moderate pitting at the rear of the barrel assembly; heaviest on the right side. The spurred trigger guard has retained a commensurate amount of the original color case-hardening, with some faint silvering along a few of the edges. The walnut grips were sanded and revarnished. They are original, and numbered to the gun on the interior, with numerous small handling marks and blemishes visible through the added varnish. A small "SH (in diamond)" Schuyler, Hartley & Graham stamp is present on the butt just above the serial number. The lock-up is still tight, and the action is fully functional. This is a good-looking S&W Russian Model, and is in good-near very good overall condition. Antique
