Description:
Serial #2408, .32 Rim Fire, 2 ¾ inch round barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is the Blue Jacket No. 2 revolver manufactured by Hopkins & Allen. In excellent plus condition the spur trigger revolver retains about 99% of the original bright nickel with a tiny area of very fine flaking on one cylinder flat, a few specks on the left side barrel and some other light handling marks with two tiny rough spots on the knurling of the cylinder pin and a faint drag line on the cylinder. The hammer and trigger show lovely vibrant case-hardened colors and the topstrap markings are crisp. The smooth rosewood grips remain in excellent condition retaining about 99% original varnish with some scattered light handling marks. The hammer is crisp and the action seems to function well mechanically. An extremely nice example of the Blue Jacket not often found in this high condition. Antique
