Description:
Serial #D1937, .38 Special, 2 1/2" VR barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1966-made revolver that has retained virtually all of the original blue finish, with only a mild turn-ring on the cylinder, as well as a few tiny spots of freckling on the backstrap exhibiting any evidence of use. The checkered walnut grips are likewise in excellent shape, with a few very light handling marks and some mild flattening of the points. The lock-up is tight, and the action functions flawlessly. This is an excellent example of a desirable, short-barreled "Snake Gun", made in the first year of production, and would make a great addition to a collection. FFL
