From a European collection we've just acquired we're proud to offer this magnificent John Rigby Rising Bite double rifle in 470NE. Made for the H.H. Raja Shrimant Bhairavsinhrao Raje Ghorpade Bahadur, Raja of Mudhol the gun remains in original condition. Beautifully engraved in typical English Scroll with deep chisel ornaments on the receiver. Metal is 95% condition even though it has lost most of the original case coloring there is no visible wear and all the screws are "north-south", The 28" barrels have mirror bores with no sign of roughness. The stock has a 14-3/4" LOP and still wears the original finish with some light handling marks. Cased in the in original case with accessories.
