Description:
C&R license OK. High Standard Field King first model for sale; this is one of the "lever-name" series of 22LR pistols that High Standard made between 1951 and 1953.
Comes with the correct High Standard magazine. Walnut grips are in very good condition and the bore is bright and shiny. The walnut grips with thumb-rest apppear to be of a type that High Standard offered back in the day.
Please examine the photographs; they document the condition of the finish. There is appreciable loss of finish on the grip straps. Finish on the rear grip strap is largely faded to blackish gray. Some loss of finish on edges, rear sight and mostly on the left side of the barrel toward the muzzle. I don't see anything that I would call rust or pitting.
