Description:
Winchester Model 12 in 12 Gauge. The receiver has No. 1 engraving with additional scroll highlights on front and rear portions of frame and above ejection port. Receiver extension has an added pigeon. Left side of receiver has Nick Kusmit "N K" signature. Famed engraver Nick Kusmit worked for Winchester 1950-1981. Nick continued to engrave Winchesters until his passing in 2010. His later work as found on this gun shows the effects of his advanced age. Bbl. is shortened to 26" with an added aftermarket solid rib. Cylinder bore with red target front sight & steel mid bead. Original choke marking "FULL". Custom beavertail forearm of fiddle figured maple with pigeon grade 3 diamond checkering. Hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of bird's eye maple with pigeon grade checkering. Manufactured in 1946. No Box 12 Gauge
