COP .38 SPL. / .357 MAGNUM is a 4-barrel Derringer-type pistol chambered for .357 Magnum but will also fire .38 Special rounds. Heavier than a smalll caliber automatic pistol...COP [Compact Off Duty Police]. The piece is in excellent condition...Stainless steel construction. Grips are original wood. Bores are shiny... The COP .357 is quite a unique in construction.... Cartridges are loaded into the four separate chambers by sliding a latch that "pops-up" the barrel for loading purposes... Each of the four chambers has its own dedicated firing pin. It uses an internal hammer, which is activated by depressing the trigger to hit a ratcheting/rotating striker that in turn strikes one firing pin at a time...It uses the ratcheting/rotating striker, which is completely internal, to fire each chamber in sequence....Has originl case inin good condition with little damage...Any questions please e-mail or call
