Featured in this listing is a wonderful Springfield Model of 1898 Krag-Jorgensen Rifle, caliber 30-40 Krag. Overall condition is Very Good across the bluing, stock, and bore. Action is slick and tight, and the magazine mechanism functions flawlessly. The only curiose feature is the barrel seems to have been shortened by a couple inches, and the front sight replaced with a dove-tailed post.
