Here is an excellent example of a Chinese manufactured SKS rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm. Made in 1978 at the Oval 9696 factory.This SKS features a 20" chrome-lined barrel, solid hardwood stock, spike bayonet, 10-round box magazine, chinese canvas sling, and is all numbers matching. This scarce Oval 9696 built SKS was imported by KFS out of Atlanta, Georgia, and remains in excellent condition to this day. The barrel and receiver retain lmost all of their original finish. The matching hardwood stock is in beautiful condition and shows no signs of cracks, chips, or major damage, only scattered light handling marks. The chrome-lined bore is immaculate with sharp rifling and no signs of immperfections. NOTE: The only thing not original to this rifle is front sight post, which has been replaced with an orange fiber optic type. Factory replacement front sight posts are available from Polytech for $12 bucks. A beautiful collector grade Chinese SKS.
