Marlin Model 81C - Bolt Action - .22 LR Rifle - Smooth pistol grip style walnut stock and forend with butt plate. Tubular magazine holds 24 Short ,20 Long and 18 LR ammo. 24 In. long barrel with adj. rear open sight and a front bead sight. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining 85% bluing. Minimal handling marks for a rifle of this age. Butt plate is in very good condition. Bolt action is smooth and tight. The Marlin model 81 was a true work horse of it's time. Manufactured form 1937 to 1940. If you don't have one this one runs great.
