Description:
Standard 20 inch carbine configuration chambered in the desirable 44 WCF caliber. It has a fair bore with visible rifling and will still spin a bullet. "1873" marked folding ladder carbine rear sight. Barrel and mag tube are a gun metal gray/brown patina. Receiver is also about the same color and has original saddle ring. Hammer and lever are a brown color and no real case color showing. Smooth action. Walnut stocks are in good condition showing some light wear and handling mars. There is a crack along the bottom of the forearm. This carbine was made in 1886 and has that "Won the West" look to it. A good example piece or use it for reenactments.
