Description:
This is a WWII Fairburn-Sykes Third Pattern British Commando Knife with war Sheath. The blade is machined and retains most of the original finish with light surface oxidation and a few tiny nicks on one edge with a slightly tweaked tip. This knife was no dough carried and used as seen from the blade and use of the sheath. The guard is stamped ENGLAND for import and has light oxidation were it meets the blade. The cast handle is a #2 casting, marked with Broad Arrow over 6 and ends in the correct brass nut. The sheath is a repro in excellent condition. Blade length 6 3/4" with OAL of 11 5/8". Over-all and excellent example of a classic knife.
