Nice antique Winchester 1886 45-90 rifle. 26" round barrel, serial no. 86,xxx. Tight, original, solid, excellent bore, some case hardening and blue remains however most metal is a pleasing mix of brown, gray and thin blue. Usual dings and scratches to wood but no cracks, splits, no extra holes, never sanded or refinished, tight. This was and is a well cared for, honest, all orginal Winchester 1886.
This is a very pleasing rifle - perfect for collecting or use and seems to function as it should. Has been in the same estate collection for over 50 years.
