ALL ORIGINAL SUPERIOR CIVIL WAR SPENCER MODEL 1860 .56-56 RF SADDLE RING CARBINE CIRCA 1863. 22” barrel with 6 groove rifling and original front and rear sights. No post war alterations and all correct and original Spencer Repeating Rifle Company, Boston production with address and patents on receiver. Fine overall all the original patina on the metal and the original finish on the wood. Ordnance Inspector’s cartouche clearly visible on wrist of stock. Perfect working order and excellent bright bore with very sharp rifling. Seldom seen in the all original Civil War condition before the Stabler Cutoff added and in the original issue Spencer.56-56 Rimfire cartridge.
