Description:
This Parker Brothers GHE shotgun was manufactured in 1905 and remains in excellent overall condition. This is a Damascus barrel gun with ejectors on a #1 frame. Gun has been restocked with beautiful high grade walnut and nicely checkered with a satin gloss finish. There is one small blemish on top right side of butt stock. Wood now stands slightly higher than metal. Original butt pad is gone and uncheckered wood in place. Damascus barrels ring true and bores are shiny and excellent with no dents. Receiver has wonderful original engraving with no case color left except under lever. Right side of receiver has one small area of pitting under barrel. Lockup is tight and gun is on-face. Gun has a 1 1/2" DAC and 2 1/2" DAH. Pistol grip cap and barrel marking both say "Parker Bros. Meriden Conn." Please note this Damascus cannot accept modern loads to shoot! Beautiful wood on a classic old shotgun. All numbers match. 16 Gauge
